Our Principal

Welcome to Moomba Park Primary School. We are a diverse, inclusive and proudly connected community in Melbourne’s inner north, where every child is known, valued and supported to thrive. Located on Wurundjeri Country, we acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

When you visit our school, you’ll often hear people talk about Moomba Magic. It’s that feeling you get when you walk through our gates — a strong sense of belonging, positive relationships, and a community that genuinely cares for one another. It’s visible in our classrooms, in the playground, and in the way students and staff connect each day.

At the same time, our work is grounded in a clear and deliberate approach to teaching and learning. We are committed to evidence-based practice, ensuring every student benefits from high-quality instruction, strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, and a curriculum that builds deep knowledge over time. Our school values of Respect, Resilience and Responsibility guide both our learning and our interactions.

Students at Moomba Park access a rich and engaging program, including specialist subjects such as Physical Education, STEAM, Music and Italian/Art, along with opportunities like camps, inquiry and our swimming program – we have our own pool! These experiences complement the strong classroom learning that sits at the core of our work.

What makes our school truly special is our people. Our staff are dedicated and highly skilled, and our families are valued partners in learning. Together, we create the conditions for every child to succeed.

It is a privilege to lead Moomba Park Primary School. I warmly invite you to visit, experience Moomba Magic for yourself, and see our learning in action.
